     Egypt - Hurghada

Hurghada is a very long city. It is 33 km long and the most of it is hotels. Some of the hotels is as big as small towns.

About 50.000 citizens’ lives in Hurghada and you can see golden desert mountain, a twinkling sea and many colourful fish. Here is everything you can desire.

Hurghada is divided in two districts – Sekalla in the south and Down Town in the north part of the city. Many hotels is in the south of Sekalla, so you must hail a taxi to go to the city.

Hurghada offers many things, such as, scuba diving, snorkelling, sunbathing, windsurfing, and ride in a submarine, and safari into the desert. There are also discothèques, bars, restaurants, shows, tax-free shops, souvenir shops and lots of people, of all ages. Hurghada has almost everything, except maybe a long history and cultural experiences. Or what some people would call charm. But we won't say that, because we think this is very charming also.

In some of the travel books, we read before leaving, they write that you have to sail by boat for 1 hour, to go to the best reef to snorkel. But it wasn't necessary for us. Because the private beach to Zahabia hotel is the best we have seen. We went on several trips, and found that this was the best, and easiest to go to. But then again, now we have something to compare with!!
