- Mido´s Sandbottles and Henna Tattoo 96 % of Egypt is sand, and in some cities some people is making special sandbottles.  At
Hotel Zahabia there is a particularly creative man, which
makes these sand bottles. He can make any motive, and if you have a
special one – he can make that as well. We
had this bottle especially made for my parents, because they have
been married for 25 years. Its there names, and the date, and in the

the shop Mido also makes
henna tattoos – my mother and me got one each. My mother got one of
Nefertiti and her name in Arabic. I got one of the key of life and
my name in Arabic. Its really nice work, i can say... 
You can find Mido at Hotel Zhababia, but also in his shop with African Things about 1½ km from the hotel. When you are standing infront of zahabia looking towards the beach you have to turn right. Walk until you get beside Hotel Arabis, and there it is on the left side of the road. The shop has a lot of handmade african things, and its really nice to see a shop not only having the egyptian souvenirs. Midos shop is just beside a pharmacy which is owned by Midos brother Hany.
